Julene Simko
According to Investigation Discovery, On November 18, 2009, 36-year-old Jeremy Simko was fatally shot in his home.


Investigators concluded that someone approached him from behind and fired a single shot from a .357 Magnum Smith & Wesson revolver into the back of his head.


Nearly 10 years later, his wife, Julene Simko, was indicted for his murder. Simko has always maintained her innocence, and continues to insist that her husband was shot by an intruder.

This occurred in the state of Ohio.

According to Oxygen,  Cracks in the storybook facade began to show. Mulvihill was forced into unemployment, which placed Lovejoy into the role of sole provider. Friends remember she had chronic fatigue and believed her health was fading. "She believed that she had fibromyalgia and believed that her son had an illness that all stemmed from some kidney illness," said Brenton. Eventually, Lovejoy's health and other issues led to the couple splitting in 2014. By 2016, both Mulvihill and Lovejoy were working and co-parenting, even though their divorce wasn't finalized.
