As seen on Season 24 of Oxygen's Snapped, Amy Fisher was a long island teenager who had an affair with Joey Buttafuoco who thought quite highly of himself and was a drug addict. He convinced the younger woman to kill his wife so they could be together. The truth was that wasn't going to happen at all. Amy served her time and continues to long for the public eye after being branded , "Long Island Lolita". Amy shot Mary Jo in the head, wounding her. She still has the same bullet in her head. Mary Jo and Joey divorced much later after trying to make a go of it. Every so many years Amy will try to cash in on her infamy, and has done things such as pornography. As seen on Season 24 of Snapped, Kimberly Mangrum was so jealous of the mother of her boyfriend's children, she convinced them to help her kill Leeanne Mangrum. She took the case to trial and was convicted of murder.  She was sentenced to life in prison. She has appealed twice and lost. Kimberly is  not eligible for parole. As seen on Season 24 of Oxygen's Snapped, Donna Mathews was convicted of the first degree murder of her former boyfriend, Michael Gayan. She claimed he stalked and threatened her, however her planning of the murder was meticulous. Her brother, Derrick was sentenced to seven years in prison for assisting her with the murder. She was sentenced to life in prison. According to Kenosha News , Donna Matthews was convicted of killing Gayan, shooting him to death at his home near the Kenosha lakefront on July 4, 2016. She has maintained that she was driven to kill Gayan because he was stalking her and had threatened to kill her and members of her family. Derrick Matthews, who at his sister’s trial said Gayan behaved “as a man possessed,” helped his sister carry out her plan, in part by providing the handgun she used, and by driving her to and from Gayan’s home the night she killed him. While the wife had found out and confronted them, the motive for the murder was never made clear. Her appeal includes Ana Rosenda Mancio appeals the judgment of conviction entered after a jury found her guilty of first degree murder (Pen. Code, § 187, subd. (a)) for the April 28, 2015 shooting of Miguel Romero. The jury also found true the allegation Mancio was a principal armed with a firearm in the commission of the offense (§ 12022, subd. (a)(1)). As seen on Season 24 of Oxygen's Snapped, Marcela Whaley hired two men to kill her lover, Tzatzi Sanchez. She hired Luis Barroso and Obed Marroquin to sexually assault and kill Tzatzi. Knowing she could face the death penalty, she fled to Mexico. Mexico is against the death penalty and will not extradite an American or Mexican citizen if they stand a chance of being executed. She was captured in 2007, however Mexico decided to try the case in their own courts. She was sentenced to 39 years in the penal system of Mexico, which comparatively, is much harder than in the United States. As seen on Season 24 of Oxygen's Snapped, Theresa Tolliver was convicted of killing her husband, Tech Sgt. Derrick Tolliver by hiring two hit men to kill him. She is the perfect example of why one should not kill their active military spouse for life insurance benefits. She was tried in federal court, convicted, and sentenced to life.
